About Chicham Bridge
Chicham bridge spans a 1,000-ft deep gorge between Kibber and Chicham villages, and is known as the highest suspension bridge in Asia.
Opened in 2017, the Chicham bridge replaced the old rope-and-trolley crossing that villagers used for generations. The view straight down into the Samba Lamba gorge is breathtaking.
The bridge connects Kibber with Chicham village and opens up a shorter road towards Chandratal via Losar.
